6534 with a 1035 movement. Are older Rolex watches better than new?

Nice watch.

No, older Rolex watches are not better than new.

New ones have modern metallurgy, movement improvements, sapphire crystals, and the very latest have bracelet upgrades...

But, still, there is nothing wrong with vintage at all.......... it's just different.........

Wow, love that Date and all the vintage goodies (as well as the cool riveted bracelet)...

A new tool watch might be better in the mechanical sense but that beauty is very nice in any case. m

I think old watches are better than new..the new ones are mass produced and anyone can get one if you have the money..while an older vintage piece is a statement..and nobody will have one exactly the same as yours..with all the same scratches and wear marks etc..and the older the model is ,the less and less that are still around..they make your watch very individualized..

i loovvveeee pllaaasssstttttiiiiiiccccccc. hardly EVER see two the same and next
too never at the SAME time>

with that, i will admit that i will wear a 16523, only because they
are few and far between in my neck of this woods.

cheers
