Question about GMT Master/ Jubilee

So I finally got to try on a bunch of Rolexes today at the AD. I want a root beer GMT, but the only demo GMT available was a Batgirl on Jubilee.
I know this will seem like sacrelige, but it seemed a little insignificant to me. I was expecting it to feel more substantial. I didn’t feel this when trying on the OP, a Milgauss, and the Explorer 2.

Literally everyone has told me that these are solid watches. So what’s wrong with me. I suspect maybe it’s the jubilee bracelet vs the oyster, but I’m wondering why I think the GMT feels flimsy. Maybe the gold in the CHNR will fix this for me.

It’s less substantial than an OP, Milgauss and Explorer 2? While it’s a smaller mm than the Explorer 2 I dont feel that way at all in comparison with any of those references.

The jubilee no doubt feels lighter (maybe even actually technically lighter) than an oyster bracelet. I'm sure someone here has the actual numbers but I'm just speaking from personal experience (currently own the BLNR on jubilee). But just the construction alone and how the jubilee is designed will of course contribute to that.
The other consideration is that even from an aesthetic standpoint, the jubilee bracelet looks less rugged and solid than a dressier jubilee.
Just depends on what you are looking for but bracelet aside, it's the same watch and of course will be a solid one.

I love my BLNR on Jubilee. The CHNR probably feels heavier because of the gold and oyster bracelet.

I know. I said I was puzzled by it and it doesn’t make sense. I was just explaining the feel. I think it may have been the Jubilee bracelet

Likely you would feel different with the oyster bracelet fitted

I own the 126710 BLRO and both the Oyster and Jubilee bracelets. I weighed them in the beginning when I got them because I did notice the difference in weight of wearing on Oyster it was heavier for sure and if I remember correctly it was like just over 150g vs just over 140g not sure how that compares with the new Sub or Daytona but they should be pretty close to the 150g.

I own both and the comfort from the jubilee might be deceiving the weight. It does feel more solid on the Oyster.

I’ve tried both on, the BLNR on oyster and jubilee. The jubilee was much more comfortable to me and adds an extra luxurious feel for me so that’s my choice.

The oyster didn’t feel that much heavier than the jubilee. I believe the new jubilees are extremely solidly built (I’ve read just as solid as oysters) as they made updates to it.

Jubilee is def more flimsy than oyster but thats bc its more flexible and comfortable

The gold in the TT Rootbeer gives the bracelet significant weight, which I like.

I've never been a Jubilee fan. My 1979 1675 came with one, and when I sent it to the New York RSC for service I had them swap the Jubilee for an Oyster flip-lock. I find the Oyster as comfortable and more substantial than the Jubilee, and not as gaudy/glitzy. My Rolexes all have Oyster bracelets (except for the two that have leather straps).
