So what is the consensus on this watch? Yay or nay?

I absolutely love it with some minor criticisms. First off my 52-year-old rear end would have a very difficult reading it without readers on. Second I can’t stand when they don’t put the brand name at the top of the dial. I don’t like that on any brand watch. The name should have a commanding presence at the top of the dial in my opinion. Other than that this is a true statement piece. It’s all gold so it tells the peasants to get the hell out of your way as you walk into the room but it also is pure horology so it’s impressive to the WIS. You get the best of both worlds with this piece.

It's outstanding. Would love to have that one or the steel tourbillon. Mainly due to the peripheral rotor

I absolutely love this piece. Yes big statement piece on the full gold bracelet but extremely subdued on the rubber or leather straps.

All in all I think this is an amazing piece and currently under rated (which is nice since it is actually obtainable, if you have the means of course).

Love it in both blue or silver dial combos. To be honest, I think the sub dials on the silver dial are more legible. The strap/bracelet changing system is superior and when you compare it to the AP (26574OR) and PP (5740) perpetuals, this one is a relative bargain right now. Just a really well thought out piece!

Good video as well, start at 5:28 mark

I assume you’re an aspiring comedic and haven’t quite made it to the circuit yet.

Now, any constructive comments on the OPs perspective timepiece? What are your thoughts on a completely pink gold perpetual calendar? Do you feel you could read the dial? Obviously someone buying this type of complication even though it’s all pink gold isn’t doing it to look cool on Miami Beach. A person can do that with a YG submariner or Daytona. I assume the OP is mostly interested in the complication and is secondarily impressed with the added bonus of an all pink gold piece. My challenge is I would have a difficult time seeing the subdials. I would also prefer to have a second hand however the 1120 QP/1 does not provide that. Even so none of the overseas references have hacking seconds and that’s always bothered me as well. The most exciting part of this reference is it’s a perpetual calendar and part of the holy trinity of watch brands in solid pink gold and ONLY 102K. That’s a bargain. It also should be obtainable at retail in this insane watch buying world of today. Lastly something the overseas collection has that’s absolutely magnificent is the ability to change bracelets to straps very quickly. I wish every watch could do that.

Love it but are these really readily available? I figured they wouldn’t be.

It’s not like they have them in the cases but if you go establish a relationship at a boutique and perhaps buy another piece you can definitely get one. The less complicated pink gold versions are in more popular demand because most people that buy all gold references including the bracelet aren’t doing so to enjoy a grand complication.

Thanks, Patton. Excellent comments all around and you are spot on on why I find VC,s to get you more bang for your buck. The finishing is superb, extra thin construction and three straps is just the cherry on top. Unfortunately my eyes are not as good as they used to but I’m la king a perp calendar in my collection. This one be checks all the boxes. I would were it with the rubber or letter strap as I don’t like to be that guy that his watch is the first thing that comes through the door. However, that gold bracket is marvelous.

Thanks to all those who chimed in, you are a very bad influence. Kidding, you folks are the best. Hopefully I’ll have a surprise for you all next week.

Crazy good looking watch. I wish my wrist was good with the bracelet on this one. Just too big for smaller wrists with the bracelet... And this one needs to rock the bracelet imo.

The only thing I don’t love about the watch is the q3 month layout.

I'd hate to be devil's advocate but frederique constant also have released a perpetual calendar, not in the same league as this one but with interchangeable straps & in-house movement. And you can actually buy the watch without waiting 3+ years for it

Sounds like you need to handle a VC. My phone also has a calendar.
