Real or fake?

I have came across some spare parts from AP.
Bezels and other stuff But im not sure If theese things are original or fake.

Its not 1 or 2 bezels But actually a box full of them.
I have tried to contact AP thru email. I Also tried to contact some AP boutiques i have had contact with in the past.

What i want is to send the parts to AP. If its fake - good just destroy them.
If they or Original i want to send AP all of the items for them to keep.
Spare part and in theese amounts should never and i mean NEVER be availible on the grey market specially not for a brand as AP. Sure you can find some Rolex dials or links online But i can bet you would never find a box full of Patek or vacheron spare parts up for sale in the grey market.

Sad thing is, AP havnt even replied me.
As a collector of the brand and also a kind of ”sponsor”since im wearing the watches makes me feel disapointed when they ignore my request.

Here i am, a collector since 12 years back with 5 watches from AP in my collection. I am ready to buy all those spare parts (If they are original)
Send them to AP and dont want a penny for it.
And here i am getting ignored and not even a single replay.

So om turning to you guys to get a input. Real or fake?
Pics will be posted of some of the items i have.

The CEO can take time to awnser a 15 year old kid who loooooves the new code 11. But fully ignore a collector willing to pay from his own pocket to Protect the brand.

My hopes are they are fake, If not and AP doesnt get back to me, im thinking of just to sell all my AP’s and never go back. Wich i really Dont want to.

No point to send back in any regard. It’s not like they would trust taking an unknown source of parts and put onto new watches

Its not ment to send it back so they can re use them.
I want to send it back for them them to keep and destroy.
Im trying to do the right thing here.

I know for sure you can walk in to the Rolex dealer and give them a bezel so they can check If its real or fake, i have done that with my Rolex AD.

AP seems little harder…

You said it yourself. Spare parts should never be available, then it must be fake.

You should rephrase your first sentence as “for AP” and not “from AP”.

The least you can do is tell us where you got this bag of spare parts, which would be a good clue whether they are genuine parts or not.

And honestly, unless I have a big following, I wouldn't consider myself as a sponsor, helping out the brand by wearing their watches.

I wouldn’t talk to AP again.

And it would serve them right.

Their loss…..GOOD RIDDANCE.

If they are fake then you want them destroyed. If they are real you want AP to take them (great gesture) but they will never use them. Why not destroy them yourself? I have AP parts…forged carbon cases I made and grand comp parts I assembled that AP gifted to me during my visit maybe they did the same for others too. If they are legit then shame on the collector for letting them out.

You have a forged carbon case wich AP gifted you wich is awesome.
I have about 25 cases and same amount of bezels.
I strongly doubt theese were gifted away.

I dont want to give the full story of how i got them, i want to have this talk with AP. But what i am 99% sure of, is IF parts are real, they left the HQ thru a backdoor.
This is why i want to get to the bortom of this.

For ex, try to purchase or find a 116515 black cera bezel from Rolex…IMPOSSIBLE

There must be some kind of adress info to a service center i can just ship them to and hope for the best, But cant find any thing, they dont awnser my email either…yet

Not sure what you're exactly hoping for. If you feel that strongly then throw it in the trash and off it goes.

I sense that (and this may be just me being nefarious) that you're hoping for a grand gesture of gratitude from AP and hence access to some other watches... Again this is just my sense.

If it was a BMW and you'd be a BMW fan, would you really get in contact with BMW HQ just because you came across some boxes of engine parts / pistons that may or may not be OEM?

You cant compare this issue with cars. You can be a good mechanic and not even a BMW specialist and still be able to take a BMW engine apart and put it back togheter, same time you can buy spare parts all over the internet or even at the BMW dealer.

You cant do this with an AP, and that you compare a BMW with an AP means you really dont get my point of view.

I dont want a single thing from AP in return, not even a Thank you.
Trust me, it would be enough for me If they would just reply and say fake or real.
I want to Protect the brand, not take advantage of it like people think duo to the situation..and for this im a weirdo(?)

Would you like to buy a AP and later on find out: hey your watchcase is from another watch and not the one AP made when it was put togheter. See my point?
I will destroy the ones i have and hope what i wrote above wont happend to anyone.

Case closed

How dare them, if AP doesn't call you, then yes you should sell your entire AP collection and never think of the brand again!

lol this forum is really getting some stupid threads lately. Either OP should trash them or tell everyone your real motive for trying to have AP know about it. I agree with the other poster. You want something in return. You want to sell your watches because they are ignoring you? What the hell.....

People are weird in this world.....

I guess he wants to use this as an opportunity to befriend the brand for this favor. Afterall, he sees himself being very important to the brand because he helps to advertise their brand by wearing it on his wrist.

The best gesture you can do for the watch community and horology is just destroy them yourself and move on. Unless you have some other motive that you want like a thank you card from AP or something?

I agree with above that this forum seems to be getting a quite a few weird posts like this as of late.

He says:

" I am ready to buy all those spare parts (If they are original)"

So it means this guy doesn't even own them. Someone is offering him something from online photos.

Btw. Who cares? Parts are parts. Put them on eBay if it's real, or don't. But I suspect this poster only has photos.

Do post some pictures of these spare parts you’ve acquired alongside your collection of APs

That will get the attention of AP staff on the forum and they will for certain be in touch.

A lot of the “bussdowns” (if I’ve spelt that correctly) tend to have the diamonds set on aftermarket cases. Possible these are left over from them?

Isnt the diamonds set on the original case?
Otherwise who wants to set full diamonds and same time swap the org parts for custom made…doesnt sound right, but i can be wrong
