Collection Dilemma

Hi all...... Just looking for a few views on the following dilemma I have.

I currently have a main 4 watch collection I absolutely love for different reasons and occasions. I want to add the following pieces to finish my collection.

GMT - Tudor
Chrono - Speed Master Professional 3816
Larger diver - SD43

I have saved just about enough funds to purchase either the GMT and SM together with a possible discount or the SD43 alone..... On the waiting list for this piece for around a year but the AD can't guarantee I'll be allocated it anytime soon. If I go for the 2 pieces, but get offered the SD43 I won't be in a position to buy it.

Interested to see what way people think i should go.

Thanks

I say buy the Tudor and Omega now, enjoy them while you wait for the SD, take a small hit when selling them, and you'll be able to experience all 3.

I’d do the twofor personally, you already have a diver

I’d skip the SD43 and instead go for Sub41 … saves money and far more comfortable and wearable.

As for timing, I’d you do the above shift, I think you’ll have time to rebuild before the Sub is available.

I'll wait for the SD43, and replace your current Tudor with a GMT Tudor.

I’d add the chrono now and be ready to take the SD43 when you get the call.

Defer on the sd43

Any good AD will allow you to pick up the next one if it’s too soon for you.

Sell all current and get a DSSD black dial and Breitling Chronograph right now plus money in your pocket to help with those rising chicken breast prices...end of story.

Sd43 is amazing! Especially if you have larger wrists. I think it’s better and more unique than a sub and also more comfortable than a deep sea

Take the speed master and continue the wait for the SD43.

Hit it all in one and get a Rolex GMT then possibly the speed master (overrated imho though)

Have you considered the Rolex Sea-Dweller 126603?

Although a little more expensive, I think it would fit better in your collection, than having several ‘lesser’ references.

Have fun deciding!

I found the SD43 less comfortable on my wrist than the DSSD.

Thanks all..... Some food for thought. It's going to be a tricky decision. I've tried on the SD43 and it's a much better fit than the sub for me and very different in look and feel than the BB58.
