Day-date 40 sundust stripe motif gone
Am I just super out of the loop here or did Rolex low key remove the sundust stripe motif from the website?? Anybody know? Assuming it’s been discontinued. Perhaps this was a while ago and I didn’t realize??
Any owners please feel free to post pics or thoughts on this piece. Sure looks beautiful. Thanks guys. Hope everybody is well and safe. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Yes, I believe the dial was discontinued last year.
One of our members has one and has a few pictures if you search the Day Date 40 owners thread. My favourite everose dial by far. This is his video: https://youtu.be/ZjGeOHVwQw4 |

I ended up going with the sundust roman since it was immediately available, but I actually wanted the striped motif. Love the textured dial.

Yeah, I absolutely love the dial. I may be in the minority but actually find it more attractive than the Roman numeral version. I like the idea of lume on a day-date too. Feels like it crosses over into a sportier territory. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
