Letting one go to bring one in….
Yes, I’ll make my own decision at the end of the day
BUT….just getting the thoughts of fellow WIS. I have 3 divers…116610LN, 126600, 126660 JC…..I’m keeping the Sub, but letting the DSSD or the SD43 go. Going with the one out / one in strategy. Any thoughts or reasons on keeping one or the other ? Thank you for the thoughts as always ***For those that may wonder….I’ll be bringing something two-tone in. Haven’t had one in the collection in a long time. (Other than the one I inherited from my father, but I rarely wear it because of the size) |

Keep the sub and sd43…. Not a fan of the DSSD. Just too big

Love the dial on the JC but like tkdgod said, it’s just too big. The SD43 is big but it’s proportions are just so good, gotta keep it. Quite frankly I’d keep that one over the 11 series Sub.

I would keep the sub and SD43 as well. The DSSD size has always kept me from pulling the trigger on it, so I’m not a fan.
Even if the TT coming in is the SD or sub, that wouldn’t change the analysis for me personally. Good luck deciding…fun quandary tho! |

I'll vote. Keep the sub and SD43. Though the JC is nice, its just too big & top heavy.

If the JC fits you, I’d keep the JC and the Submariner … less redundancy than in the Submariner and the SD43, IMO … they are just too similar … especially from 10 feet, or even from across the dinner table.

The fit is ok for me for either, the lug length is same between the SD’s and I actually think the JC looks basically the same size as the 43 from the top. |

Between the two, I’d keep the DSSD JC.

X2. The DSSD is the king of the line up and is the pinnacle of representing the Rolex technical dive watch. IMO, there is no reason to have the SD43 at this point.

I would keep the JC in this scenario, dial offers something unique and I can never accept a cyclops on a SD.

I would keep the sd43 you always end up back with
One anyway - and I’ve seen you comment more than once that if you were ever to go down the one watch route the sd43 would be it. Personally for me I do like the bigger Rolex watches but I think the dssd is huge and I don’t like it at all, no cyclops is a dealbreaker for me aswell. Are the submariner and the sd43 redundant, probably yes. But since when does that matter! |

If the SD43 and JC are both comfortable then I would keep the JC. Dial is really nice and overall more unique than SD43.

Like others have said, if the JC fits you well, that dial makes it the easy choice for me. I'm actually looking to purchase one myself.

Being I had both at one point that you are trying to decide on, I let go of the DSSD. I just found it too big. I feel the SD43 fits better for me. It is smaller, not by much, but enough that made me move the DSSD. Have fun second, but like Danny said, wait a few more days!

You could even chop the sub in for a 14060m 2 liner for a more classic alternative look (due to the similarity between the two 6 digits). |

Having owned both the SD43 and DBlue, the SD43 hurts me. Must not be a problem for you, but the DBlue would be my choice.
It’s ….. just …. So ….. tall ……

I'd sell the steel sub since it has highest premium right now. Fund a bluesy sub from AD with it. Then you're adding to the blue theme also.

I would keep the JC since you have the updated version with the bigger bracelet. If it was the old JC, then I would’ve said keep the SD

Tough choice. Both looks good on your wrist.
I’d keep the DSSD JC. The SD43 is too similar with the Sub. |
