WTS: 1982 Heuer "Monnin" ref 844-1 Diver - Rare, Made In France variant
I have a rare, excellent condition, 1982 Heuer Diver "Georges Monnin" reference 844-1. This is an early variant, 844-1 which is Made in France and uses the France Ebauches FE 4611A movement. The last variant before production was moved to Switzerland and movements were replaced with the ETA 2872. Case is 42mm and fits almost identical to a vintage Submariner.
The movement was recently serviced by a local watchmaker. I also had a sapphire crystal installed, new seals, and pressure tested. The original acrylic crystal will also come with the watch and is in fine shape. Features the original Heuer jubilee bracelet with flip-lock clasp. Very difficult to find with this watch as this was an option for this watch that incurred additional costs. The watch typically came with the strap. The bracelet as you can see is also in fantastic condition. These are rare Heuer variants that are seldom seen. Here's a really good writeup on the history of this piece: https://www.veblenist.com/magazine/heuer-monnin-844 Asking $3,000 shipped via FedEx FTF purchase is also welcome in the Southern California area. Forms of payment include cash for FTF or wire. Text is preferred as form of communication at 760-533-3097. I've purchased and sold numerous watches here on TRF and you can find my references on the "Who's Who" section. Buy with confidence as I also have 1600+ 100% positive feedback on eBay and have been a member there since 1999. I also have Two-Factor Authentication enabled here on TRF. I welcome a Zoom or Facetime call with anyone interested in purchasing this piece.

Here's a picture of the movement. Hard to read but it has the correct "G. MONNIN FRANCE" on the rotor.
