daytona too small for me?

i’ve just thinned out my collection to three watches, i only ever sell the watches i bought grey as the retails seem like they’re mine and mine alone.
got a new kitchen project so needed some funds and sold theee watches. i have this overriding feeling that my daytona is too small and i should swap it for a skydweller flex, i need a rubber strap watch in my collection.

i won’t be doing anymore watch transactions for quite a while, i just worry that the skydweller is only good for dressier occasions with the bezel, does anyone who has one wear it casual as well?

if daytona was a 41mm this wouldn’t be being typed, my subs wear great.

What???? It looks great on you. It’s not supposed to wear like a dive watch.

Honestly the size looks great on you. If anything I would say the Sub might be a hair too big for you, or right at your upper limit. Keep that Daytona!

Daytona looks great on your wrist.

I have blue Sky Dweller and I wear it with all occasions.

Looks great to me, would look silly if the lugs extended much further, imo. Plus, there’s no way I would trade it for a hockey puck even if I loved the annual calendar complication.

IMO, it looks great on you. One of my favorite Daytona models.

Also IMO, I think it and the Sky will wear about the same in a dressier occasion, the Sky a little "blingier" and the Daytona a little more subdued, with the end result pretty much the same. My two cents.

Not small at all. If anything, those watches look big on you. I hope the fad that all these watches get bigger and bigger will be over soon.

All your watches look amazing on. If you want to sell it and put into your kitchen, or just to offload general, I would do it sooner than later while the market is still pretty hot. Also does your AD buy and sell watches? You could use it as collateral towards a SS Daytona as I noticed your other 2 watches are SS.

It’s perfect for the era. 50 years ago people would have said it’s too big for you!

I’d personally keep it, and part with green sub towards a Skydweller. Then game over :)

The Daytona is a great looking watch but too small for some and this makes decision making easy. I’m hopeful Rolex will either redesign the case size or create a Daytona II.

The Daytona looks perfect on your wrist! Would definitely have this Daytona over an OF Skydweller.

Same as me - a Skydweller might look a bit like a dinner plate on you

It looks fine to me. If you want it to appear larger, try a light colored dial.

I think that is the PERFECT size on your wrist and at 6.75" the Sky-dweller might wear a bit large. That watch looks amazing on you, seriously, I would keep it.

I’d keep the Daytona. It looks great like a great fit honestly.

Try standing in front of a full body mirror. It’ll give you a much better perspective of how the watch looks from third person.

These wrist shots from a phone camera distort the perspective due to the angle and lens.

I have a 7.25” wrist and the Daytona is perfectly sized for me … and you.

As mentioned above, the Daytona is a precision watch and should not be as large as a (clunky) diver.

And I also agree with the others that said the Sub is at your limit (almost a touch too large but passable since it’s a Diver - you know, big and clunky).

The sky dweller will be way too big imo.

The Daytona pm looks fine on u… and definitely not too small.
Perfect for 6.75, again imo.

Keep the Daytona

Daytona is right size. In fact the subs look too big in these pictures. But it’s really your overall size and stature. Wrist shots always make watches look disproportionately large on wrist.
