Possible Trade
Hi I would love the communities thoughts on a possible trade deal in front of me. It’s with my local trusted dealer. The trade is.
Minty 116613LN full kit V serial, missing two links Straight up for: 2007 mint 16613lb serviced by Rolex this month. Full kit. I really want to acquire a bluesy and I prefer the 5 digit case, but I feel I’m a few grand on the downside on this one. However I am not into this for the money. What would you do? First world problems I know. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Values aside, I personally prefer the black dials over the blue and 6 digits over 5

Dealers are in the business to make a living and have to make some margin. It sounds like a win for you. You get the bluesy and 5 digit you prefer for a straight swap (i.e. no out of pocket $).

I would want a 6 digit personally after getting to try one on at my AD, but if you love the 5 digit then go for it!!! Wear what makes you happy and it’s just been serviced. Sounds like a win to me! I know $ wise you might be a little on the short end, but to me it’s about happiness not money and as long as you aren’t getting totally bent over (which I don’t feel you are) I say do it!

Definitely don't let your 16613 go. The blue is much deeper and better than the blue of the 116613LB. When I bought the 116613LB back then, I had my 16613 converted to black. Today I would buy a 116613LN and keep the 16613 in blue.
