Falcons Eye Yacht master

This piece is spectacular it’s interesting that no one is really talking about it? Anyone ever seen it in person?

All stone dials are yet to be seen. I got myself on the list the first time I got a glimpse! As of my AD realistic lead time would be first quarter of 2023! Same refers to onyx-dial YG DD.

I have a YM42 in WG and was talking to my SA about a dial swap. That is until my SA saw it in person. Did not recommend - said it looks like scratches on a stone and only under very specific lighting does the dark grey/blue come out. Same comment when I talked to another SA at a different AD

I learnt the hard way one thing. AD usually manipulate customers to push them towards those pieces they would receive in larger quantities. You have to see it by yourself.

I prefer the matte black on the YM to match the matte black bezel.

The falcon eye watchmaster is... spectacular indeed. I'm in love with that, knowing it's far from my reach. It's the Rolex I'd choose from the entire lineup if offered to just pick up any in the entire line up. I'm serious...

Very nice watch. I tried the wg Yachtmaster on a couple of weeks ago while on vacation; not the falcon eye. I put my name on the list. Just waiting for the phone call now.

Falcons Eye Yacht master

For context

And I agree, it’s a stunning dial!

The stock picture doesn't give me a good impression, but I wouldn't mind seeing one IRL out of curiosity. I'm up for interesting dials on paper.

It's like meteorite in that you can't really take a good picture of it. It's a very dynamic stone dial.

I think it looks great from the stock photos, I bet it'll look more fantastic in real life.

My AD has seen two and he said that the dials vary greatly. One was awesome and the other you could barely see any difference to a normal YM. I have also seen one at Rolex HQ in London and it also looked like a normal YM.

I would imagine that this is what these watches will be like. Sort of like the MOP dials, they will vary piece to piece.
I love this model with the falcon eye though and have thought about it a lot since it's release.

Totally agree Lee.

I've seen two in the flesh now and totally different in the complexity, or not, in the dial.

Same, the one I previewed couple months ago didn't show much, barely any difference to the normal.
The new DD onyx dial was nice, that you could see the stone dial difference.

This is one of the rare ones where the picture looks better than the dial in real life. Not for me at all, but each to their own

I've seen live shots of this watch and to me it just looks like a dirty dial.

Not bad image but will still have to see one in person to have an opinion.

Saw one in person. It was interesting but felt like there should have been more to it.

Exactly this. I tried it on a month or so ago and was left feeling underwhelmed. I barely noticed that it was different coming out of the box, to be honest.

Stop cruise travelling and buy a yacht like the rest of us. The sun’s gotta hit it just right with the reflection off the ocean.

I’ll have my yacht broker dm you.
