Annapolis - Watch Spotting, etc.

Spending the weekend in Annapolis and have seen a few keepers of the Crown... Z-Blue Milgauss, 5 digit Sub, couple DJs, Batman.

Had a nice quick convo with Z-Blue wearer to which he said, "wow, you're young," after noticing my Pepsi, lol.

Btw- any watch stores I should check out while here???

I'm right across the bay from you on the shore. liljenquist & beckstead in Annapolis Mall is a nice shop although they stopped selling Rolex a couple years ago. They still sell Omega and several other Swiss brands.

If you are up for a 15 min ride the best shop around is Little Treasury in Gambrills, MD. Fantastic place qith awesome staff. The only Grand Seiko AD that I know of and they sell TONS of other brands like Ball, Omega, Seiko, Breitling, Longines, etc. Can't praise this place enough and well worth the drive.

Annapolis is a really great town. Enjoy your visit!

Liljenquist & Beckstead (AD) has their Rolexes in their northern Virginia (Vienna) store.

Radcliffe Jewelers west of the Baltimore beltway (Pikesville) is another AD. They have preowned Rolexes, too. ErikSzper is a pledge member who posts Rolexes in the Classifieds.

Yeah Little Treasury occasionally has some used Rolex, too. Good people there, as Mike too will attest. They just this past week launched an official Omega store-in-store area.

Hesitate to recommend Jared’s near the Annapolis mall, but they too get preowned Rolex from time to time (mostly two tone DJs and the like).

The Naval Academy museum used to have some interesting historic watches on display including a Speedmaster worn on one of the Apollo missions, but I think that may have been returned to its owner’s family.

This is good to know. I was at a TRF gtg at this AD years ago. They brought in the Bremont team for the gtg. Found the owner a bit too pushy for my taste and haven't been back since. Perhaps it's time for another visit.

Are you sure you mean Little Treasury (in Gambrills/Crofton)? They’re not a Rolex AD. You might be confusing them with the similarly-named Tiny Jewel Box in DC, which is an AD. (Also good people, but a very different vibe.)

Absolutely the same place. They hosted a TRF gtg and at the time they sold Longines and just brought in Bremont. Wegmans was still in the planning stages back then.

I also concur about Little Treasury--you'll have fun if you can make the trip. The folks there are great.

Enjoy the stay. Great town with a drinking problem. Make sure to get the crab dip at Mcgarveys and the crab cake sandwich at Boatyard.

Extremely, extremely true, re: a drinking problem. Love living here but it’s a boozy, cocktails & sunsets over the water kinda place. Great for a weekend; dangerous for a lifestyle.

Those are decent but touristy spots. The Point Crabhouse is where to go for a life-transforming crab cake.

Two hands and one mouth is the only drinking problem that exists in Annapolis.

I remember when Liljenquist & Beckstead had their store on the Costal Highway in Ocean City, Md. Very nice little store. It’s gone now but I could see that. The only real crowd they had was the summer crowd.

Not very many choices left on Delmarva.

Info every weekend. Today had lunch at Reynolds Tavern.

I was wearing my YG Black dial sub.; I doubt anyone noticed.

You will see a lot of apple watches. The watch stores were mentioned.
