My new Ciga Skeleton

I saw this brand on another thread here on TRF. I was intrigued by several of their designs but was afraid they'd be too large for me. I thought about getting this Series C for a couple months and couldn't resist the 6th anniversary discount offer.

I know some on here bash the brand, but to me it's a great novelty for just over $100. I have no idea what to expect from it, longevity wise, we'll see. I don't conduct special operations where seconds matter....even minutes (hours, days) don't matter to me in retirement, lol; if it loses a few minutes a day, whatever. I love seeing the entire movement work. I was impressed with the weight of the watch, anticipating something that would be very lightweight and cheap feeling. It came with a metal mesh bracelet, leather band, and spring bar tool. The immediately noticeable downside, as other reviewers have stated, the hands take a little effort to see.

The most important thing is that you enjoy the watch. For the money I think you got yourself a great watch. I collect pocket watches and I love opening the casebacks and looking at the movement in motion. Life is too short to care about what other people think of your watch.

Enjoy it in good time and in good health!

Thanks. I absolutely couldn't care less what anyone thinks; I was just trying to save them the energy of typing their negative crap I've read on other threads. To me, a watch can be fun even if it doesn't cost thousands.
