Did sizing my watch damage the movement?

I purchased a Nomos 782 Neomatik. It is a on a oyster style bracelet but held together in a pin and collar system, which is new for Nomos.

I purchased via an AD online, and found the pin/collars tolerances were really tight and I wasn't having success hammering them out at home. However, I did set the watch and the timekeeping was excellent over the first 24 hours.

I brought the watch to a nearby AD for sizing next day. They got it sized for me but it was definitely a process to hammer out those pins! I could hear them in the back with the hammer, it sounded like they were hanging pictures on the wall but they were getting those pins out and back in.

In the time since I got my watch sized it's running like 1 minute a day fast. So I am open to suggestions but heavily suspect sizing my watch affected the movement. I contacted Nomos about the timekeeping and it sounds like I have to send it back to Glashutte.

Any thoughts or suggestions here? Obviously this could have been avoided by removing the bracelet from the case before removing the pins, but also the movement would have only suffered vibrations from the pins being hammered out, not a direct hit. Anyone else ever have something like this happen?
