Florence, Italy Recs?
Hello everyone,
I'll be in Florence for a few days next week (first time). I know the Italians are great collectors of vintage watches and curious if anyone had recommendations on some watch boutiques or vendors to check out? Restaurant/Trattoria and other recommendations welcome as well Best, J |

Trattoria Pandemonio do Casa Brogi
Get the steak florentine. If you close out the joint, the family comes out (they are the waiters/waitresses, cooks, dishwashers, hostesses, etc) and they start pouring you grappa and limoncello! Enjoy! |

Are you heading to Chianti by chance?

I was in Florence for 8 days in July and recommend Trattoria Gozzi for its pasta. They only open for lunch and recommendations were necessary because the line builds up at opening. Since summer is over it might be easier now. Inside is like stepping back 100 yrs, go with the house wine which is fine. Central Market (second fl) around the corner was my breakfast place for cappuccino and pastry or square pizza slices. The leather mart is right outside.
I shopped at one vintage shop a block down the street from Gozzi (in direction of train station) and saw a lot of vintage Omegas and other watch brands. Enjoy |

Florence, Italy Recs?
Highly recommend IL Corbolino (Via Faenza, 49 r, 50013 Firenze FI, Italy). Had an amazing Florentine steak. Local dry aged beef. Very good value. Friendly, helpful staff. Great find.
Central Market is good for a quick bite. If you’re willing to try something different there is a sandwich joint on the first floor that services Lampredotto (a traditional Florentine dish made from the fourth and final stomach of a cow). Ponte Vecchio bridge has Rolex, AP, Vacheron and Patek. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

you have to go to 'Ino for a sandwich (right by the Uffizi). it's less famous/less touristy than all'antico vinaio, which is the one most people will probably recommend, but I thought 'Ino was much better.
if you're into cocktails, Rasputin is great for a night out. Procacci is lovely for a quick daytime cocktail. la giostra was my favorite spot for a fancy dinner, but there are lots of great options for that. |

AP, PP, VC and Rolex all on the bridge!
We did a food tour - fantastic. When I say food, there was as much booze. The wine window. Negronis - very strong but when in Rome (well Florence actually) and all that :-) |
