Acura's new line of cars with the "The Grill"
To me Acura ruined the line-up with that rapper styled iced front grill........
IMHO that is sin to ruin a whole car line like that.....and I USED to like than just a few years ago. |

I don't know but the whole new Acura line slowly grew on me. Acura though was always far more superior in technology than most cars in its class.

Similarly I hated the new BMW 7 series when they came out in 2002. Now I think that shape is pure genius.

Greg, I am not a baby boomer and I think Acura's new grill is horrific. When I purchased a new car a couple of months ago, I did not even consider Acura. I went straight to BMW. Just like Rolex, I think BMW form and style are timeless because both companies do not change the look of their respective products much year after year.

Like I said a while back...
the new Acuras have the sex appeal of an old camel with gingivitis.

I have seen the new models and do not like the grill at all. Although these things tend to grow on you over time.
One thing I can tell you stopped me in my tracks from buying a new MDX was the newly designed "active head restrain" head-rests. They are also on the new TL and are being incorporated into all models as the designs change. Essentially the headrests are tilted forward about 30% from their normal upright position. They say it is to reduce whip-lash. If you sit with your seat back fairly upright, as both me and my wife do, your head is pushed downward. I had to find a new car that had not yet been updated. |

Ya, that ZDX is quite nasty looking.
However, I personally like the new look of the TL. However, from a fast glance, the RL and TL look almost the same from the front. The new TL AWD model looks the best out of Acura's entire line-up IMO. The new MDX looks great from the front, but in the rear it just looks like an ordinary SUV. |

They sure have gotten more aggressive, but I don't like all the hard angles.

Wow. It looks like some exec took a Photoshopped CTS/Prius picture to heart.
