Date Just vs Date

What is the difference between the Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust and Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date.
Thanks for any information.

So from what I'm reading the only difference between the two is the size of the case? Does this mean that the movement is similar and the bracelet can be interchangable?

Date not available with jubilee bracelet and not available in TT (18k and SS)

As said, the movements are identical cal 3135's..

I believe that they are both 20mm bracelets so I will say that the bracelets could be interchangeable......but I have not confirmed that...

I have an older Perpetual Date 1500 (mid 1960s). The bracelet is 19mm.
I do not know if that has changed for the newer/current models.

I believe the older ones had the 34mm case and the 19mm strap, oyster strap only, the newer chunkier cases are now all 36 mm..

There isn't a huge amount of difference: the Date is 2mm smaller, only comes on the Oyster bracelet, has slightly fewer (but some different) dials, and has the added choice of the engine turned bezel.

I own both. Modern Datejust bracelet is 20mm, and Date bracelet is 19mm.
