did ap have another price increase?

for the usa, i was looking at offshores maybe a month or two ago, and looks like some prices are slightly higher? i dont remember the diver being at 29k, but the beast reissue seems the same at 45.2. maybe im just going crazy. was looking pretty closely and knew about the price increase several months ago, but when i was possibly getting a diver for the wife i dont remember it being 29k or the 43 offshores being that high.

A mate of mine just bought a beast from the London AP House and it was £38k. Another mate bought exactly the same watch from the same place 18 months ago and I’m pretty sure it was £29k

Sure, there was a 5-6% price increase in September.

I think there have been a couple of price increases in the past 18 months but not enough to account for the difference you show. However the British pound has dropped significantly in that time so could a portion of that difference be a currency adjustment AP applied to prices in the UK?

The Beast moved from the old movement to the new flyback chrono about a year ago, so it's not exactly the same watch. But yeah, I got the 26237ST Beast for ~$30k in 2020 (from a non-US boutique) and now the new 26238ST model is $45k + tax. Ouch, new movement or not.

i dont remember the specific USA prices but from what i recall the beast price didnt change at $45.2, but the 43 and the diver seem like theyre a couple hundred bucks more. I mean not much but i swear the diver was 28xxx or 27900 Reason being my wife liked it so expressed my interest at the boutique, and i dont recall it being 29k even. i see the post above about the sept increase, but it seems like a few models increased again. the code i was offered when i was looking at the diver is unchanged at 34.3. anyways im probably just misremembering the numbers. thanks

The way things are going AP really needs to hold current prices for a long time unless they want their non-RO watches selling at 40% off on the grey market.

I couldn't agree more. It's not going to be healthy for their brand or demand if they continue to raise prices while market prices tumble. I also think with the way demand is softening, they should consider not ramping up production as planned if they want to maintain their brand image and exclusivity.

Agreed. Current ROO and Code pricing on the secondary market is starting to look terrible already.

Not sure if I'm late to the party, but I was going through my watch spreadsheet and noticed the prices in Singapore have gone up ever so slightly. The 15407ST went up by $1K, 26240ST up by $400, and the Starwheel up by $800. Is this the increase from late last year or something else?

Edit: Please ignore, I had a brain fart and forgot GST here went up by 1% this year which probably accounts for the price difference.
