116515LN (which dial would you choose?)
About to place an order due the new rules that you are not allowed to change dial (at least through Rolex) for 5 years I am a bit torn between these two.
Anyone here who has either owned or compared both at the same time? Which would you choose? |

The matching sub dials are better looking to me. Is there a matching sub dial variant without the baguette indicies? That's the only thing I'm not fond of.

Black subdials would be my choice, hands down. I just love the contrast against the steel dial, and goes well with the black ceramic bezel imo.

For the 116515LN I dont think there is a better looking dial than the black one. By a long shot. Its not new... its been around for a while. But the deep black with contrasting rose gold subdials and matching ceramic bezel is amazing in person. I am not a gold person at all but if the day comes for me to purchase a YG or RG piece, the black dial 116515LN is head and shoulders above everything else.

This is just my personal opinion, I do not think the diamonds and rubber really go together. The "plain" sundust dial is perfect, and not to mention I love the contrast of the black subdials.
Either way you go, you will certainly enjoy this watch! It is my favorite of my very small collection |

I have handled the black sub dial version at an AD and must say, it's freaking fantastic!
However I am sure the baguette is also really beautiful in the metal. I don't think you can really go wrong here. Well, maybe you will miss not having lume if you go for the diamonds?

I have the Sundust with the contrasting (black) sub dials. Of all of my pieces (and I have some great ones) this one provokes the most compliments when I wear it; it is my wife's favorite of my collection as well.

I'm all for the matching sub dials. The black ones look like someone shot your watch three times.

For legibility, same coloured sub dials. For the overall better look (imo), black sub dials.....

I think the bigger question is: how are you able to place an order for something that's very rare at ADs, a RG OF normal dial and a even more rare diamond baguette dial. Market dropped but these are still very hard to get without a large spend history.
Is it an actual order or a wish request? |

Non-diamond. The lighter sand dial doesn't have enough contrast to it to make it exciting looking.
I also think diamond is overboard for me on a rose gold Daytona. |

116515LN (which dial would you choose?)
I am a huge fan of both of these dials to be frank, it’s a tough choice, but I have a thing for the factory baguettes and the sundust dial. Mine is actually arriving this week

I'd choose sun dust of your two. I'm waiting for this one at MSRP.
