Sky Dweller vs Sub
Hello RF. Question I'm looking for advice on. I'm looking for a gold daily watch and am debating between one I currently have (well it's Rolesor, the 326933 white dial Sky Dweller) and a five digit 16618 bluesy. I know these are very different, but just seeking perspectives from owners of either or both.
They're both great watches. But I'm leaning towards the 16618 because of the better size (I have a 7" wrist) and surprisingly, in my experience, because it's less flashy without the fluted bezel. Any perspectives on which of these models would be better for daily wear? Thanks in advance. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk |

To me TT Sky D. is less flashy than YG Blue dial Sub and can be daily wear, it can go with everything easily.
You have 7"wrist size so it should be good for both watches. Actually it should be your personal preference, which one you like it better, go for that one.

my subs (wg and ss) are better daily drivers for me (wrist also just about 7"). i do love my sky d, but it doesn't get as much wrist time as the subs are just more comfortable, versatile, and in-line with my lifestyle.
in terms of flash factor, i hear you about the fluted bezel, but i do find the bluesy to be one of the more "look at me" watches out there. guess that's why i stick to wg and ss. anyway, good luck. trust your gut. |

I would happily have my TT white Sky Dweller as a daily. A Sub Date is a nice watch but would not fulfill my needs. Plus the fact that the Sky Dweller is so damn clever while remaining user friendly. I've recently put mine on Jubilee. It was comfortable on Oyster, now it almost vanishes until I look at it. It's sooo nice to wear.

I have a TT SD on jubilee, champagne dial. I will say that it doesn’t exactly feel like an “under the radar” piece but it may depend on how your normal day looks…
I personally would prefer a stainless sky-dweller, black dial, oyster bracelet for daily use and I’m currently waiting for one of these right now Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I think the iconic bluesy YG sub is fantastic. Black dial and bezel also...

I’ve had both- your exact sky dweller and LOVED it. I just got black dial solid gold sub and it’s amazing. I miss my two tone white dial sky dweller though!

It really depends on your lifestyle........personally, I wore mine GMT-Master II(126710BLNR) to work every day from Mon-Fri.....and I'm happy enough to wear a Sky-Dweller too
personally, I leave mine Submariner for the weekends as it is more casual piece.... Current collection: 1) Rolex Submariner(116610LV), 2) Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional(311.30.42.30.01.006), 3) Rolex GMT-Master II(126710BLNR), 4) Breitling B01 Navitimer 43(AB0138211B1A1) |

This is one of those questions where there really isn't a correct answer.
Two stone cold beauties there. Each is lovely in their own way and could do the job you're after...and then some. So, you've just got to think about who you are and your sense of style, fashion sense, and lifestyle, activities, etc. and make the best choice for you. We don't know any of that stuff about you, so we're just going to shouting about what we like. Now, I will say this. Pressed for an answer, I would say...(wait for it)...'both.' |

Sky-Dweller without hesitation! Mine on an Oyster bracelet and blue-dial is spectacular!
