Just Purchased a 2022 DeepSea Blue SeaDweller

Hey Folks - Thanks for reading my post...Yes, looking for some reassurance regarding my recent (today) purchase of a brand new Rolex DeepSea James Cameron SeaDweller - 2022 model - 136660 model.

Any comments from owners? OR Sea-Dweller owners in general - this was a huge purchase for me - but, extremely exited - arrives next week. Could be just me, but I tried one in Miami recently and it just seemed to fit / lay on the wrist better than the pre 2022 DeepSea?? The bracelet looked a tad wider too - which I loved!

Anyway - Great being part of this forum - Hope I made the right decision $$ #Gulp (paid 15K plus tax) - TrooperPT, Boston.

Congrats - great choice. Tried one on and I have to say I really like the size and weight of the Deep Sea JC. Enjoy and welcome.

Congrats great choice! I have both the James Cameron and recently purchased deepsea challenge. Love them both. Here’s a video I made for them a few days ago

I think that's a great watch! Excellent choice! I love the JC DSSD. Unfortunately, it's a big boy and a bit too large for my smaller wrist. Otherwise, I'd love to own one of these too! I think you made the right decision. Congrats and enjoy!

Congrats on the watch and your first post!! I have the same piece (albeit the 126660) and I absolutely love mine. It’s my first Rolex and one I never plan to sell or trade toward another piece.

Great watch! I’ve got the 12… reference and recently purchased the challenge. Here’s an amateur video I did for both watches a few days ago

The Deep Blue has been my grail watch for a while, and I bought mine last week from an AD, fortunately with no wait (same day). A week in, and I’m sure there’s some honeymoon phase to factor in, but it’s surpassed all my expectations. I’ll find myself just staring at the dial and how it interacts with the light. It’s incredibly comfortable, and the weight and weight distribution hasn’t posed an issue, nor has the height. Make no mistake, it’s a big watch and a bit of a flex, but i love it and can’t see ever parting ways with it. This is my first Rolex, and the one negative I can foresee is that it probably won’t be my last

Congrats! I have the original JC. Would love to see it next to a 116 and 126 for comparison.

Congrats! This is probably #3 on my list of favorite Rolexes...I really want one. I'm just worried the cost/wear ratio will be out of whack for me. Stops me from shelling out the cash.
