GMT case size compared to submariner?

Hi guys, just wondering the current GMT lineup, they are 40mm, do they use the maxi case like the previous gen Submariner? Or slimmer lugs like the new 41mm sub?

Maxi, but I believe the current generation (3285 movement) has slightly tapered lugs than the previous say, Batman despite being 40mm too.

They are very similar, but the Sub has slightly wider lugs.

The GMTs have a thicker mid case than the super-cased 40 mm subs and their lug thickness is somewhere in between the 40mm and 41mm Sub cases.

So while the 6 digit GMTs may have the super case, its not as thick lugged as the super case Subs.

No, it doesn't. There is not a single caliper measurement supporting that claim anywhere on the web. The New maxi case == Old maxi case. Period.

The GMTs lugs are smaller that the 11sub. They also tapered down the lugs in 2019 on the GMT. But the lugs are smaller on the sub41s.

I measured both my BLRO and Sub ND (maxi case) in 2020. I don't have my calipers but can measure whatever you need/want.

Let me know what measurements you would like.

In a previous life (former login), someone asked for the 1:00 to 7:00 measurement, and I provided that as well.

Can't post the link until I get 10 posts so when that occurs can share it with you.

I got my 116610LV out and put it alongside my 1126710BLRO. I didn't need to reach for the calipers. I doubt there's more than 1mm per lug difference but it's visually obvious.

I’ve had both the 11 and the 12 BLNR. The 12 has a different shape to the lugs. Slight taper. Not measurable but visually different. Here a video

Yes, the lugs on the new iteration of the GMT cases are slightly slimmed down. However, I believe the new iteration of the Sub has slimmer lugs in comparison.

Isn't it super case and maxi dial? I thought so but I hear maxi case so often now that I'm confused.
