Another strap question

I know there are several threads. I tried a few but they were closed. I’d like to switch up and use some leather straps for my 116610ln. The issue i’d had in the past is that the leather is too thick for the gap between the case and the spring bar. Besides Everest type straps is there any solution?

Look for unlined shell cordovan leather straps. Basically just a single strip of leather only folded over and stitched at the top to go around the spring bar, they are really nice and about as thin as you can get as far as I know.

Another option might be to get curved spring bars that give a tiny bit more clearance.

Yet another option might be to just leave the metal bracelet on, LIKE GOD INTENDED
