It's gold, it's super soft. I don't know how he wears his GMT, but the PCL scratch very easily on my white gold Submariner. Just comes with the territory. Still doesn't look bad, though IMO. I'd take a few scratches on a gold watch over a longer pristine looking SS watch every day of the week.
