Could be a turnograph to have the stick hour marks and also a rotating bezel, but I’ve searched and couldn’t see an example with colour bezel. Fun looking though!!

Thanks for that link. Really interesting. I have an old Zodiac from my stepdad. He was a Air Force fighter pilot and was in Korea and Vietnam. His Zodiac is more fancy though, gold with a moon complication. I got it from my sister , years after he died , and had it serviced. He wore it every day but I’m. Ot sure exactly when or where he bought it.

I love old photos like that. So interesting to see, because in contrast my experiences in the US Army sharply. Even in combat in Iraq and Afghanistan, no one was ever allowed to write on there, Kevlar cover, and keep cigarettes in their helmet band. It was a different time then, for sure.
