Selling a watch London
Anyone recommend decent/fair dealers/shops London way.
I normally sell privately on the rare occasions I do, but in the current crime/robbery climate, I'd prefer to follow recommendations, and the forum rarely sends me wrong. Ideally like to sell tomorrow as I'm free all day, London or surrounding counties Thanks in anticipation |

Market is low if you want to sell right now and high if you want to buy something ..
Hardly any dealer will offer you a cash/check these days as they will likely only accept your watch for a consignment, especially if it's not a hot piece like Daytona or GMT. You can forget getting anything near the asking prices on chrono24 or at trusted sellers and take about 30% OFF the cheapest prices you see online for your reference to get a feeling of what you might be getting atm. |

Personally I think eBay is the best place to sell at the moment.
Authenticity guaranteed, you send it to the authenticators they send it to the buyer. If the buyer removes the "do not remove tag" they can't return the watch. Sent from my SM-F936B using Tapatalk |

I have sold to BQW and they were very easy to deal with. Obviously you will not get best price but it's horses for courses. I have also sold throught Ebay and that works quite well if you are patient.

As a buyer, where do you find these pieces? Why would someone list their watch for sale at 30% below what the lowest price on the markets is? Is this a joke, I'm sorry I do not understand at all. I see 124060 going for $11.5k, why would they only expect to get around $8k? If you want a quick sale, put it like 10% below market but rolex are still trading strong without much variance these days. I've been looking for any 6 digit sub, waiting for prices to cool, but doesn't seem like things are dropping much more (as much as TRF would like and constantly talks about).
