Question concerning bracelet interchangeability for the modern gen. Navitimers....

Greetings, folks!

So, a few months back I posted within this subforum that I'd purchased the new lime-green dial 41mm Navitimer. I bought it on the steel bracelet, and then subsequently purchased the brown leather strap from Breitling's website, so as to have some variety with regards as to how I'd like to wear it on a given day. Anyway, I still very much like the green dial version, but I must confess that I'm starting to feel some kinda way about the 43mm model with the copper dial and black subdials, on a black leather strap. My question is: If I were to sell off my green-dial 41mm, but only sell it with the leather strap and KEEP the steel bracelet, would that bracelet then fit appropriately on the 43mm model's case? If I'm not mistaken, they both have the same lug width, do they not? I'm just curious about this, since one case has a larger diameter by 2mm, and I can't help but to wonder if the curvature of the case might not line up properly with the end link as a result?

Thoughts on this?

I'm not sure regarding if it'll fit the 43mm watch, but would contact the Breitling boutique first so they can double check part numbers for the end links or specifications prior to moving forward. Either that or hopefully someone else here has already done the aforementioned or owned both and can let you know.

Fair enough, I'll probably give their concierge a call tomorrow

The Toronto location has been VERY helpful for me over the years. They're more thorough than I've experienced with other brands, and were on top of things like the fact some references (like my A13340) uses different springbars for the metal bracelet and strap options.

At least this way you'll know for sure (they can check with the watchmaker if needed) and not get stuck with the incorrect bracelet for your new piece. Hopefully you're able to gather your necessary details soon and enjoy the new piece to the fullest.

So turns out that the bracelet DOES fit the 43mm just fine.
