Tudor discount off MSRP?
What is your experience with getting a discount off MSRP at Tudor ADs in the US and/or Europe. I have owned several Rolexes, Breitling, Cartier etc and considering adding one of the popular models to my collection. Don't know them well (yet) but maybe a blue Pelagos or one of the BBs, not sure but I assume they are available, unlike Rolexes.
Are discounts similar to Omega, Hublot etc (6-10% or more)? |

Were I to guess, I would guess that a big secondary market site, like J-shop, would be a decent barometer. Whether an AD will entertain discounting or not probably depends on the model, the dealer, and the relationship. But assuming that all pieces on secondary sites are bulk purchases from ADs (rather than distributor leakage to secondary market) then this should indicate what they're willing to price at.

Depends on the AD. Not all will offer a discount but yes, it can be done.

As above. depends on the AD.
You might get a discount, you might not. If you don't ask for one you definitely won't get one. |

Depends on the model and the demand as well. If you see the same watch sitting in their case for months on end, they may be more motivated to make a deal.

I wondered this recently - some of the popular models like the BB58 and even Pelagos 39 I’ve seen in secondary dealers recently unworn and days or weeks old at pretty substantial discounts. It’s hard to believe they are taking so many nearly brand new unworn watches as trade ins so suggests they are being discounted.
BB58 blue is the standout bargain for me - at £3,280 MSRP I’ve seen it recently a few times at around the £2,600 mark basically new. Pelagos 39 seems to be nearer 10% off but still not bad. We’ve come a long way from the days of a secondary market premium. Not so sure about a private buyer walking into an AD though. |

And if the old BB32/36/41 are still sitting there, those are probably prime candidates. Same with models eliminated from a particular market, like the Style in the US. Suggests they’ve been sitting a while.

The BB58 Blue trades at a much bigger discount than its black and gilt brother. Does anyone know why that is?

Tudor AD's are popping up in Saudi separating themselves from the Rolex stores.
Unfortunately they're charging 30% over retail price. I bought a Tudor Ranger as a gift back in March. I knew I'd be paying a little over, but I felt like I got scammed when I got home and saw how much over I paid. That will be the last Tudor I buy. |

I think discounts off anything popular (gmt, pelagos, bb58/54) will be tough. I’ve bought one of each and no discount ever. Off other less popular models probably but not sure. Dealers in my area stay firm in price for tudors.
