So I guess we get a new chronograph soon with this movement. I am wondering how thick the movement is compared to the B-01 and if it may pave the way for a sub 13mm chrono from the brand. would be killer if so.

The current B-01 movement Tudor uses is 7.23mm thick.

The 4130 Rolex movement is 6.50mm thick. I presume the 4131 is similar.

I don’t think it will be sub 13. That’s almost invading Daytona territory. The Daytona is low 12mm/high 11mm thickness I think. Like I commented on the only watch thread, Tudor will still cripple their chronograph offerings but I guess a sub 14mm thickness Chrono will be released sooner or later. This will give Tudor a better competitor against the present Speedmaster which I think is approx 13.5mm. The Pelagos Chrono is 13.6mm currently so Tudor knows it can be done. Whether it will be done that’s a different question entirely.

1 mm is the raised crystal as well for the bb chrono. just using a flat crystal would push it down to mid 13s. let's put it this way. if the movement were 6.5 the pelagos would be somewhere around 12.9 mm thick.

i think maybe a 13.1 or so would be cool. still thicker than a daytona but much more wearable. time will tell.
