What to add next?
Hi everyone,
Below is my current collection, most are sentimental to me. The reverso a gift from my parents, BLNR my first Rolex, DD40 marked a milestone of mine, Daytona was at list and the RO bought with money following the passing of a relative… I don’t think I want to sell any, apart from maybe the omega, but I’m not sure from here where to go. I feel I have many boxes ticked in terms of complications, materials, case size and shape and manufactures Just wanting some advice on where I could go from here

I would say a starbucks or a hulk. You need a green dial watch. Could also be AP or PP.
Or maybe something on rubber? Aquanaut, daytona etc. |

I think you’re done, but I’m the wrong guy to ask as I’m trying to figure out how to downsize

You don't need another, but if you must waste money, Speedmaster gets my vote.

Wonderful collection. Perhaps an AP Diver or Offshore on a rubber strap. The grey dial diver would complement your collection

If you don't know where to go next, the answer is nowhere. The next candidate will ambush you in due course. In the meantime you can enjoy the hell out of your superb collection.

You can always look into other Swiss brands (Blancpain, Breguet), or something made in Germany (Nomos, GO) or Japan (Grand Seiko).

Very nice collection
If it was me Id dump the Omega and Id add a Speedmaster and a ND sub and Id be quite content.

Mainstream stuff... Speedy, Cartier, Heuer Monaco... or add 'different' with a Bvlgari Octo. How about a Christopher Ward Bel Canto C1? I'd add something that truly expands the styling diversity.

Maybe a fun watch with more color like a Nomos, Celebration dial, Milgauss, Stone dial, Bluesy, Or something over the top like a rainbow gemset or gemset Sub type of thing, maybe some haute horologia piece like a Moser complication

Grand Seiko 5 day spring drive watch. There are dress up and divers out there. My collection is similar but I have two 5 day GS watches.

VTNR on jubilee for some variety? Maybe the new green dial SkyD? Otherwise if you got a piece from VC you’d complete the “Holy Trinity”. A VC overseas with all the strap variety could be a cool add.
Anything speak to you that you’ve seen? You have a killer collection btw |

Great collection. I think you can ofcourse end at this point as that is a respectable collection but if you want to take it up a notch, I would either consider going to an established independent watch maker, for example MB&F, FP JOURNE, Romain Gauthier for example. Otherwise I would venture into a grand complication, like a Perpetual Calendar or manual wind split seconds for example. Doesn't need to be from Patek.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I’m surprised a lot of you are saying to leave the collection as it is! Very sensible but not what I expected from trf
Submariner LV or Aquanaut are both on my radar. Maybe after those a Perpetual Calendar. I appreciate everyone’s input.

Looks good as is. If I were adding …I’d add green sub, new or previous generation.

Tudor Black Bay red on jubilee (sorry - 5 link!) bracelet. Bit of fun and colour to balance some of those high end pieces. Alternatively, bin the current Seamaster and swap it for the new 300M in Summer blue.
Lovely collection BTW. |

That collection is so damn good. Not a thing is needed, but if you twist my arm I would say…
Lange 1 or Vacheron 1921 would be on my list. |
