Look this is just plain embarrassing to admit but user Stephe scammed me earlier in the year in June.

I paid him on the 16/6 and last correspondence was the 4/7.

I should've outed him sooner but I had a lot going on and never got around to it. I am truly sorry if anyone else has been scammed
by him in the interim.

He went inactive after ghosting me and stringing me along for 2+ weeks r.e. shipping.

Honestly that was the worst part, the false hope that maybe he was going to ship my integrated bracelet dream watch.

I paid him $5350 for a zenith defy classic

I can't link his thread directly but its been bumped two days ago.

I had FOMO (from missing out on this model over several months) and was sleep deprived from a string of night shifts and didn't do enough due diligence in checking references.

There were a number of red flags there in retrospect.

Moderators please ban/ suspend him immediately +- if its possible to reach out to anyone he's PM'ed recently.

I suspect his bank details are just some dupe, but if they could be disseminated to other forums/ lists that would be good as well.

Lesson (painfully learned)

- Don't have FOMO
- don't rush into shit sleep deprived
- take time to check your references.

Honestly I don't think I'd even consider dealing with a private seller non F2F unless they had impeccable (dozens if not hundreds confirmed high value trades), no matter how rare/ desirable the watch is.

Sorry for your loss. I was scammed by him. I was lucky that I figured it out fast enough. I put the wire transfer on hold at his bank and called FBI and local police.

After a week I was able to get my money back. The FBI is subpoena his account as we speak.
