Chocolate vs Blue Daytona

Hi,

I’m vacationing for thanksgiving and my AD has offered either chocolate dial RG Daytona vs blue dial WG. I’m not dying for either but should I decide to get one, any thoughts?

I think the blue dial is a low key stunner and the chocolate dial is OK but not my first PM that I would go to.

If I had to choose one, it’d be the blue dial Daytona.

Blue between the two, but you really can't go wrong.

Neither. You said you weren’t dying for either one. If you have the money to burn, then get the blue one. I would hold out for the one that I wanted since you will probably get rid of the blue one at a loss to get the one you really want.

I like the blue dial Daytona in white gold. The rose gold w/ chocolate dial is beautiful, but not for me.

Honestly though, if you are going to spend money on a Daytona that isn't yellow gold or platinum, why don't you try to hold out for a Le Mans version. The retail on that watch isn't that much more than the WG or RG variants you mentioned above. If there was a chance, go for the Le Mans.

Neither would be my choice , as those two aren’t configurations I’m fond of. Also…I wouldn’t buy a watch I didn’t like just because it was offered

I agree with the majority. Blue dial would be the way to go if you do choose to pull the trigger.

It's a beautiful piece.

I've often thought this might be the one watch I keep if I sold everything (which won't happen). I love my steel Daytona but PM just feels so special. Blue dial is gorgeous, PCL's make it very versatile and no annoying date to mess around with on month end.
