I am mad at Breitling

Yes I am mad at them. I am huge fan of their Navitimer and very few other models. So much so that I bought 32 years ago a Cosmonaute, this 24 hrs dial is so beautiful and so original.
Very original look at that time with white hands (no B and anchor for the chrono second hand) and 3 small black hands for the sub dials.
I sent it few weeks back for service and they want to change the hands with new white gold one and the chrono second hand with a red tip + B and anchor.

I wrote them an email to ask if they could reconsider that. Answer is : no.

It just drives me crazy that a brand who is leveraging so much their heritage and history is not able to keep the original look of such a watch.

To my it is like if you bring you gold sub and they give it back with SS DJ hands.

Any of you would have a solution or know someone who could find a solution for me?

Thanks

Refuse service and request they return it you you. There are plenty of qualified watchmakers that can help you.

Check out Bennisson down in Florida. They have plenty of watchmakers on-sight. I am sure they can help

You can try reaching out to watchfred on here. He’s the official historian of the brand but I don’t think he’s been too active on here lately.
