16520 - Thoughts on condition
Any 16520 experts willing to share thoughts on the condition of this one? One item that gives me pause is the amplitude reading. Thank you!

Just my opinion, think its had a fair Lick of the polishing wheel but generally looks not to bad.
Case looks like it has a graze or flat spot just under the bezel edge, where someone has prised the bezel off at some point. Could do with a sympathetic restorative retouch polish wise. For me it would be all down to the price being asked for it, take that into consideration and negotiate before pulling the trigger is my opinion. |

For some reason, I never consider the state of the movement when I consider the state of the watch. Amplitude issues (etc.) can be fixed with a service.
I didn't even know I felt this way until your post, so thanks for that. |

Nice watch, amplitude doesn’t matter imho. A watch of this age deserves a RSC treatment anyway. Condition of case and bracelet are more important and this one looks good

Is that TG pic right after a full wind and a rest for a couple of hours, or what?

I think it was a full wind, but not a full rest for a couple of hours. What’s the implication if they didn’t rest it longer?
Regarding the servicing, does RSC in Dallas seem optimal for both service and polish? Any guess on what to budget? Thanks all! |
