New incoming - 126610LV Mark 2

Hi everyone

I used to have an account, but didn't use for many years so easier to set a new one up!

My latest pick up was this Green Submariner earlier this month. It has a special meaning as it was my wedding year too. Oddly I never really wanted a 'black' submariner as they are quite common (for a good reason of course!) and I like a bit of colour, and I already have a few other black pieces.

The green mark 2 bezel is a nice 'flatter' green vs the mark 1 which seems a little deeper green. Quite nice how this is also the 70th anniversary as explained by my AD to me when I picked up. What are your thoughts about mark 1 vs mark 2?

The wait was not too long (less than 1 year) but I was visiting fairly frequently and I do have a bit of history too. I will share my other watches in due course if anyone is interested!

Congrats! Great watch. Mark2 is growing on me. Not surprised the wait was less than a year seeing that panda in the background (assuming you got it from the same AD)

Really nice! Recently purchased a 124060 and I love it for its simplicity and symmetry of the dial. However, now I kind of want the 126610LV as well… deep down the rabbit hole I guess.

Congratulations! I picked one up about a month ago after having the LN because I have always wanted this watch and like a little color as well. I have been here on TRF long enough to see countless “this vs that” arguments and agree with you in really liking the latest iteration of green on the LV. It’s not for everyone, but I really enjoy it.

Really nice congrats!! having purchased a 124060 a month ago I think I need to add a Sub Date as well, that bit of green is a welcome splash of colour.

Thank you. The 124060 is very nice, love the symmetry on it. The 126610LV is different enough to justify - go for it! I was in a similar ish position as I have the 126600 SD 43mm and decided that they can both go in the collection together

Thank you, well spotted! The white Daytona was actually from a different AD. So it has taken a bit of effort with this most recent AD. Never a bad thing to have a couple of options re AD!

Thanks! Yes many this vs that arguments but ultimately it is down to what I like - however, it is always interesting to read other people's thoughts and opinions.
