New guy from Calgary, Canada......
Hello everyone.....!!
I was referred here by some of my long time friends from the Ferrari Chat board, where I have been a member since 2000. Getting close to buying my first Rolex (a used 18K Sub with a blue dial and bezel......drool) and I am very happy to have found this forum.........looks like there is an incredible wealth of great information here and I look forward to participating. I'm 49, born in Winnipeg, married @ no kids, the wife is from Brasil, we have an apartment in Rio de Janeiro, but we currently both live and work up here. Been selling Porsches and MB's for 20 years. So if you have questions about the car bizz feel free to ask me anything, and just so you know, I am not here looking for new customers....... Cheers from the great white north.....!! Edit: I see someone from Nunavut joined yesterday.......seems he is much further north than I am.......heh.

Yes, welcome to the Fold. I know you will enjoy it.
I had the good fortune to visit Alberta a couple of years ago. We hired a HD from Kanes and toured the Rockies for 4 weeks. Simply stunning. I thought we had great scenery here in Scotland but its a poor second to what you have on your door-step over there. Hope to get back over next year - or whenever the Dollar improves enough... |
