Do you think this 37mm everrose YM oysterflex is too small?
I have. 6.5 in wrist and am struggling on decision. This is how the 37mm fits me. I tried the 40mm and immediately thought it was too big. What do you think of this on me?

You should get the 40mm which it fit 6.5 inch wrist perfectly.

The lugs are okay but on the second picture the watch seems small compared to the proportions of your body.

I don't think the 37mm is too small on you and it's helpful to see the photo taken from a distance. Probably the 40mm would work, too. It is less a question of size and more a question of style. Think about the lapels on a suit jacket. Depending on fashion, they may be wide, like in the 70s, or narrow, as in the early 60s, or somewhere in between. What we thinks looks right is often what we see most of the time.
In terms of watches, the style aspect is whether you want a greater watch presence on the wrist, or you want it to read as a large sports watch, albeit with precious medal...or, do you want to tone it town, given it is a precious medal, and go for a more understated look? It is entirely your call. Responses here will often turn on the member's own sense of style, their own preference, but you are the buyer and it's your opinion that matters. It's a big purchase, so if you are really hesitant, I'd say hold off. That is, don't try to talk yourself into wanting it, if you really don't. All that aside, if you buy it and wear it out the door, no one is going to look and say, "Gee, that's a tiny watch. What was he thinking?" |

It’s not like a Datejust where the bezel is small. The Yachtmaster naturally has a smaller dial because of the bezel size. 40mm will look perfect on you, I think you would regret the smaller size.

+1 to Lew Archer
Is a matter of preference and how much you want your watch to “show” in your outfit. To answer your question: no. |

I think you think the 40mm is too big.
Then it's probably too big. For you. |

Too small. The 40 will be perfect for your wrist of 6.5 inches.
So many folks are misled by the fisheye effect of the macro, up-close wrist shot. That is why it is imperative for you to see the watch at a reasonable distance from a mirror.

It looks good in my opinion - 37mm works well.
I have the 42mm and would also consider a 37mm if it was available in a white metal |

I’d buy it, for myself. I’m a girl! You should buy the 40. The dressier DJ or DayDate men can wear in a 36 mm size, but a similar size dive watch is different. It should be 40 or slightly larger, for men. Just my opinion, of course.

I think it looks a bit small to be honest due to the short lug distance (18mm?) and smaller dial.
BB54 is 37mm but amazing on bracelet as the bracelet and dial are the same size as a sub 14060! 37mm Yatchmaster will wear smaller. Datejust 36mm would also look good as again bracelet and dial are bigger. I have a 6.5 inch wrist too and would definitely get the 40mm. If you want a gold watch on oysterflex that wears a bit smaller what about a daytona? |

40 mm looks a lot better on your wrist.

The 40 would be the one and you can have the strap fit perfectly.

too small for what it is (a dive watch on rubber), if it was a datejust it'd be fine. it also doesn't help that this model wears smaller than its size because it has a thick bezel which ends up shrinking the dial. it wears like a 35mm imo

I have a 6.5” as well.
The 37 is definitely too small. In fact, the 40 wears small as it is so no way would consider smaller.

I have the 40 on a 6.75” wrist and I agree with others that 40 would fit better…

Welcome to the RF.
Yes, it also looks small to me. Go with the 40mm.

Welcome to the forum
Thank you for posting two pictures from different distance. In the first picture I’d say it looks spot on, but in the second picture it looks like it wears too small (for my taste). What matters is your sense of style and wearing comfort. I’d definitely go 40, but that’s just me |

I love that model and have a similar wrist size to yourself , however I wear sub 41mm comfortably and would probably go for YM 40mm , to myself the 37mm looks okay but agree with others it is a sports watch and in my view 40mm would look better .

I did the same thing. Had a 37mm and after a week it felt way too small.
That second picture on you looks very small. Get the 40
