Rolex Datejust 16013 Crystal Swap

Hi

I bought a Rolex Datejust 16013 a few years ago for my wife.

It has the plexi / acrylic crystal, which she is not a fan of.

Considering buying a sapphire replacement from Amazon and have a great watch tech replace.

Has anyone has experience of swapping the crystals out? Is it worth the swap?

My experience with seeing these upgrades is that the gasket always sticks out, this is not an upgrade but a water resistance liability.

If she wants a sapphire I suggest selling the watch and getting one with sapphire.
