I have a 19cm wrist and my daily wear (DW1) is a 116660 Deep Sea at 44mm. It wears well on my wrist and I am contemplating the 47mm Panerai as DW2.

My question is, why is there no date complication on this watch? Is the lack of date keeping true to a past model or is it keep the cost down?

The “DNA” of the brand is manual with two hands or three hands. But if you want a date, plenty of great PAMs with dates. I have an automatic with date and love it.
