Following up….purchase done…one has to go
So I made a purchase. Decided to go a different route, but one needs to go now. I purchased a 26574OR.
Need to decide which one needs to go. As I stated in this thread… https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=944071 I’m not putting 6 figures into a straight purchase, so whatever leaves the collection will help offset the cost of the new AP. Which would you let go of? (I’ll have a few other Rolex left other than the Daytona, those will stay. The 5726 is the only PP in the collection) One of these needs to go… AP Openworked PT Daytona 5726 Nautilus |

Thank you. ⬆️⬆️⬆️ I thought about this.
Could make the trade from the 5726 to a 5712 or 5990 pretty easily as well, if I decide to keep the PP. That’d give some complication variety. |

I’d go for a 5712- coolest nautilus imo

The PP for this one. The other two are keepers for right now.

PP needs to go. Looks too dated relative to your other pieces. Also you seem to acquire the more desirable of each of the models - and I think in Nautilus you could do better! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Out of those I’d sell the Daytona. One thing to consider with that is how much you value the diamond dial without the brown rings as you can’t get that on the new one.

I’d sell the Daytona and flip 5726 for 5712. Then you’re all set!

I would get rid of the openworked. You’d be left with three incredible watches from three different brands, arguably, showcasing the best of each of the three brands.

Thanks for sharing your purchase with us!
The 3 watches you already had are grails... So is the newly purchased AP QP.... If I were you, I would keep all 4! I cant imagine letting go one of those 3... just me

The Nautilus out of those. The 15407 is the best out of the 4 you have shown us I think.

I would sell the one most easily reacquired. In this case I think it’s the Daytona.

Not surprising that the openworked has least amount of votes here, and the nautilus has the least amount on the PP forum. I think this might look a little different on both forums if the nautilus were a 5712. |

I’m typically a Rolex first guy, but I think there are several Daytonas ahead of the platona imo Le Mans John Mayer White gold blue dial I understand the Platona to be more high end but I just think there are better looking options in the Daytona line. Now the platinum day date you had is a different story…… All in all, you have a wonderful problem to solve here!! Lol! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
