To quote a friend who is in a "reality tv show".
"Reality isn't always reality" I've seen behind the scenes of some of this shows, may not be 'scrpipted', but there is a lot of prodding from people just off camera. Yes Russell is a tool, my guess he is a plant to spice up the ratings.
