I like it, I really like it!! How does it wear as far as comfort? What is the diameter of it? Great watch, congrats.

really comfortable. more so than the standard 750t divers. The GMT mov't from eta is slimmer if I remember.

I actually prefer the Orange dialed Doxas.

BTW Ed, the next issue of WatchTime has a special feature article that you'll love. It's all about orange dialed watches!

I received my Divingstar GMT #249/1000 last week. I was hesitant to order, never having seen a Doxa in the flesh. I don't buy watches to flip a month later, so my collection is small and each watch is well researched before I pull the trigger.
The GMT is delightful watch. It's very comfortable, and is quite accurate and consistent for a new piece.
The dial (with inner rotating bezel) is busy but very legible. The hands are rather unusual - particularly the skeleton 24 hr and dwarf 12 hr hands.
The bracelet is nicely done, although the clasp (particularly the fold-over) could be more robust.
Doxa has a great "official" forum - two factory reps routinely post there. It would be perfect if it had a member like JJ.

Thanks, pal. I cannot remember having welcomed you to TRF, but if I didn't, then a big welcome is overdue!!

And I think I have enough on my plate with this ONE forum....besides, I'm such a ROLEX only person, that I would be unfair to other brands and to the members therein. And I don't think I'd want to do that!!

Thanks anyway.

Cheers - JJ

Yes JJ, you welcomed me several weeks ago in response to a question about my '66 5512. BTW the ol' Sub is at RSC Dallas right now for a refurb.
The Doxa is the latest addition to my humble collection of mid-range automatics - I'm wearing a Ball Alligator at the moment.
Given todays prices, it's not likely the 5512 will ever have a brother or sister of the same parentage, but I sure enjoy visiting this forum every few days.

Mamas, they are size-wise in Panerai territory, but you can pick up a used one for around or just over US$1,000 or so.
