RubberB - Dream strap specifically

Hello all,

I’ve had a few RubberB straps for a SubC years ago. Ultimately went back to glidelock bracelet each time as just very comfortable and has unparalleled adjustability with the glidelock.


I now wear an SD4K as my daily which is staying on a bracelet, but when I don’t want to wear that I wear a 14060M. One of the reasons I didn’t get on with the rubberB was the hole spacing were too large. I’m very finicky about how tight / loose I like my straps.

The dream series of the RubberB seems to solve that with micro adjustment with the tiny holes.

Anyone have any real world experience of the dream series specifically?

I’ve had one of the dream straps for my 1406m. Provides a much better fit for me with the smaller holes however I had to send the first one back as the rubber between the holes split. This is the problem with the design in that the holes are so close together that there isn’t much rubber between them. Rubber B begrudgingly replaced the strap upon inspection once I’d returned it but intimated that it was a gesture of goodwill and weren’t particularly accepting of the issue.

I have a Rubber B strap that does not have the tang buckle. I use my rolex clasp and can utilize the glidelock extension. It can be a pain when you're swapping them out but the comfort and look are well worth it.

Buy the Rubber B that utilises the Rolex clasp, you then retain the glidelick for the best of both worlds.

No issues with my dream strap but I do wear my BLNR in rotation. Based on my experience so far, I am very satisfied and I doubt it will experience any durability issue except through normal wear and tear after a number of years.

Thanks for the comments guys. I’ve had a rubberB which uses glidelock and a tang buckle on the SubC. So well aware of pros and cons.

The 14060M is used as a bit of a beater so to be on a rubber without original clasp is no bad thing. Obviously the 14060M only comes with the tuna can which I hate. I’ve got a aftermarket glidelock clasps but again hate it because it’s obviously fake and shit in comparison to the real deal. Without SEL I can’t even source a full 97200.

Interesting you mention dream durability. I did suspect those tiny holes might not be tough. However you get adjustability. No such thing as a free lunch.

Glad to hear it was replaced though. Paying that amount compared to an ebay special you would expect to think so.
