Tudor 79090 Crystal Change

Hi I have a Tudor 79090 which I will have serviced by my Rolex/ Tudor AD.
I would like the crystal changed to a dome without the cyclops.
Can you please provide the correct Rolex part number so I can request the proper part?

T-19 which is the 5513 crystal.

Others talk about a True Superdome crystal which is aftermarket but has been tried and tested.

79090 crystals are not the easiest to find. Get the new service one (likely all the AD would do) and then swap to a TrueDome.

The 79090 crystal is the C-125 which from memory is pretty common, no?

79090 (and 76100) is a 25-144 - I got a new one in packet easy enough a few weeks ago.

9411/0 (and alike) are 25-125

I also have a 25-19 (T19) on one of my 9411s. It's an acquired taste but it changes things up.

Not sure the RSC/AD will do that 'mod' but you can ask. A friendly watchmaker will do it in minutes though. I do my own and can get it done, start to finish, in well under 5mins, though you do need the right tools.

Thanks for that - learn something new. Any ideas on whats the difference between the 125 vs. 144?

I should have quit while I was ahead :D

I think it is a very minor repositioning of the cyclops (though they still seem pretty interchangeable and I don't even think the 25-125 sits in the perfect place for the 9411, but it is 'correct') and I think the 125 may be slightly more top hatty (thicker).

I'll drag some out of the draw and put the calipers on them in the next few days and post some results up here :) Albeit some may have lost a little thickness with polishing over the decades.
