Advise for DD36 YG

I am currently looking at a used DD36 YG with gold dial.

The shop wants about $13,800USD.

Is that around the right price or is it on the high side?

Also, if I get it for service with Rolex, is it true that I will get a warranty card from Rolex?

Is my first time buying used Rolex :)

You get a two-year warranty after a Rolex service.

This sounds like a bad deal in the making. There are much better places to buy a 5 digit day date than tik tok. you don't want a crappy example

No Rolex service if it's a Frankenwatch, buy the seller!

I don’t know how close you are to HK there are many reliable dealers in HK. It might be worth the trip? Always buy the dealer especially with a vintage Rolex 180 series.

Good luck,

Too many variables. There are quite a few 36mm versions of the DD. Get the model number and check for recent sales prices online. Rolex service does come with a warranty. Happy hunting.

Price seems low in the current market without any details, ie. it may be severely damaged from wear.
