Time To Decide...Again!
So it's just been a couple of months since I welcomed my first Rolex(wimbledon fluted jubilee) and I am already planning for my second!
Which one should it be? - Sub ND - GMT II BLNR jubilee or oyster - GMT II GRNR jubilee While I already have an Omega green SM diver in my collection, there's just something about the Sub ND which feels special. Should I take this plunge or look at GMTs instead? I am looking at versatility, style and timeless. **Any other suggestions in similar budget are also welcome. |

BLNR on oyster. Smaller clasp and nice and flat. Wears like a dream and the black/blue is a bit more interesting.

Time To Decide...Again!
Can’t go wrong with the Submariner or GMT BLNR on jubilee.
Personally, I’m not a fan of the BLNR on oyster because of the PCLs. BTW, I have a blue dial Omega SMP and a Submariner. I don’t think there is much overlap at all. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

You already have a jubilee so oyster would make a great diversity. No wrong choice between all the models you mention. They will all make a perfect pair with your DJ!

Would you likely use the gmt or date function? That may sway your decision. Great references, you’d be happy with any one of those. I didn’t realise how much I relied on my date window until I acquired a time only dial.

Eventually you’ll want a Submariner and a GMT

Haven't used a GMT before so not sure, and don't really rely on watches for dates anymore all thanks to mobile phones. Although, I just realised literally all the watches I own have a date function or more. |

A DJ and Submariner are a classic Rolex duo, in many cases they make a versatile collection all on their own, no need to add anything else.
Getting caught up in the hype around GMT's or Daytona's is fine but they are watches that are going to take a bit waiting for whereas the Submariner should be relatively easy to get (at least in Rolex terms).

I would add that the sub is more subdued compared to a GMT. Either can be worn with most outfits but you get a little more pop from a GMT.
I say the above having owned both. Only you however can decide which you truly prefer/want. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

If you want them all take your pick. If you're not sure, keep looking.

Respectfully, not sure why you would ask an internet forum what watch you should buy next?
Surely this is a decision only you can make when you try them on and see which you prefer. Could understand it more if your AD had offered you two watches and you were unsure which was the more difficult to obtain…otherwise buy what YOU want, not what we tell you to buy |

The Submariner ND would be the one. An Icon and a cornerstone of many collections. It is truly a go anywhere, do anything watch. Add in the amazing Glide Lock clasp for a perfect fit every time and you have a winner. I like the dial on the ND as it is perfectly balanced.

Out of that trio I prefer the ND Sub, as it is the one that represents the more pure essence of Rolex, similar to the 36mm Explorer 1. But obviously that is my preference and your reasons for liking a watch could be entirely different |
