Weird dial logo
Guys, please help me to authenticate this watch as the dial logo seems out of shape, thanks

What is it about the dial logo you find odd?

The proportion of the crown, seems less sleek, as in the too much white in the middle part of the crown

Honestly, I wouldn't have a clue whether it's authentic, but there are soooooooo many second-hand GMTs out there that if I had the slightest doubt, I would pass on the deal, no matter the price.

I am the furthest thing from a Rolex expert, but that crown doesn't look right to me. I took a screenshot of the crown from the OP's photo, and put it next to a screenshot of the crown from the Rolex website. The OP's crown has much more white space than it should. That is, the "fingers" of the crown are too short. The OP's crown is on the left, the Rolex website crown is on the right.

I don’t know if it’s the quality of the photos but it looks like the hyphen/Dash between the GMT and Master is almost touching the M with a bigger gap to the left

Back then Rolex used several different factories to source their dials so slights variation are not at all uncommon. Can't tell much from a single pic, but the watch looks fine to me. And that serif insert is lovely. |

This is absolutely genuine. Rolex has always tweaked the dial coronet from serial to serial. Looks like a typical K or Y serial coronet for the GMT range.
As always - buy the seller

I checked Chrono24 and found another same example:
https://chrono24.app/rolex/rolex-gmt...MY&SETCURR=MYR Guess it is different printings from different factories in different serial

Many different crowns around, it is not straight forward.

I kinda went down this rabbit hole a few years back out of curiosity... I don't recall 5 digit clones (at the time) but they have moved into the 4 digit market for some of the high end collector pieces, older subs and so on. That's why vintage is such a minefield.
