Picked up my new favourite

A smasher 2 watches in one! I assume also a 79190 as the indices have the WGS.

Is it a 98/99? I have a black wgs on a solid, not folded, link bracelet.
The wgs in black and blue were the very last of 79190 in 98/99. I've seen a few wgs service dials to.

Yes, certificate says october 1998. It has the 9315 folded link bracelet right now. Not sure if it came with it in 98. However I have ordered a new 78500 solid link bracelet from my AD. Should arrive in a few weeks

Great stuff. Looks good. I'm 99% sure it would not have been on a 9315 from new, so the modern 78500 will look a treat and you have a rare bird as only 1 in 5 wgs were blue, as far as I can ascertain!

I've just checked my records. I have had 6 of these wgs 79190s over the years and they have all been silver insert and thicker solid link bracelet like the second one of these 2. First one is on a 9315 here as you can see as per yours....

I think therefore you likely have a (prior to this) blue wgs transitional piece with blue (not silver) insert, and therefore the 9315 is very possibly original to watch. I'd not come across this configuration before, so interesting find.
