YM Rosegold Oysterflex 126655 - Got the Call

I anticipate these are becoming quite a bit easier to obtain now, however I got the call to collect mine.

It’s been a watch I have always admired and will sit alongside my 114060 and 126710BLNR. Not a great deal of diversity in the Rolex collection but it will be my first venture into gold, or half way there considering it’s on Oysterflex! I could have gone grey and probably paid marginally less, but for whatever reason I do still like being the first owner of my watches (although appreciate not everyone will have the same driver).

Will post customary pics upon collection.

EDIT: For those with Oysterflex, how have you sized for a 6.5-6.75 inch wrist?

Incredibly beautiful Rolex. I fully agree with you on being the first owner.

I just picked up an OF Daytona earlier this month. I have a 6.65 inch wrist and the size F strap that came with it fit perfectly.

I am also waiting for my 126655 to arrive ( I recently sold my 126621 to fund the upgrade) and I also decided I would prefer to pay a little bit extra and be the first owner. I like the watch to tell my stories....

Congratulations in advance OP

I’m like you, prefer to buy new from the AD, but I also go gray from time to time.

Congrats!

I have a similar sized wrist and found D/F to be the best fit (after trying a few different ones). It sat slightly strangely with other configurations.

+1 on this

D/F combo on my 6.75" wrist. My friend with the same size wrist has his on a E/E combo, but I prefer the D/F as it positions the clasp closer to the 6 o'clock side of the watch.

Congrats!

⬆️⬆️⬆️ same for me. Had the OF many times on my 6.75-6.9 wrist. The E-E combo works, but as stated above…the D-F fits properly and positioned the clasp in the center of my wrist

Thanks for all the kind comments! Picking up this weekend. I think they come as standard on E&F so will look to try D&F based on the experiences shared above.

let us (me :-) ) know about the sizing experience. I think we have similar wrist sizes....I have an 39mm explorer and 116 series daytona and I wear 6/4 link set up on both. I am hoping with the right strap set up might wife might be able to wear the watch some times now that it has that awesome mini-glide lock.

For sizing, E&F works at its tightest setting but any adjustment would likely make it too big. No D strap in stock but will likely order in as suspect will give me more flexibility to make use of the glidelock.

Do it. I have a 6.5" wrist. When I had the YM, I used D+E. That allowed the glidelock to be at the middle setting for easy adjustment either way.

Congrats!

Congrats. I have the same one on D\F bracelet. Don’t love the fit, but E/E would be even worse
