Ah, Bogie, maybe my favorite actor of all time, and The Maltese Falcon is certainly one of my five favorite flicks of all time. I was just watching The Big Sleep last night. Good stuff!

wow!! If that jubilee bracelet is original to the watch you have a very scarce Date watch model 1500. Wear the watch with pride.

Unfortunately that is not the case, I recently had the watch serviced and was offered an Oyster Braclet for an addtional $500, if it had been a Jubilee I'd have taken them up on it. The bracelet you see is a pretty good aftermarket, I figure I got a snowballs chance of aquiring an OEM Jubilee at less than 500 thousand million dollars.n
I do wear it proudly as the head is very clean and as I said recently serviced thru an AD in Fort Worth.
